The Rickshaw challenge , Mumbai Xpress - 2010 will follow an extensive route through the four states of India – Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra. With a dauntless army of fellow adventurers, you will follow a 13-stage course that will take you over 1900 kilometers (roughly 1180 miles). Your auto rickshaw will cut through hills, valleys and beaches, cruising thought the most exotic and scenic places in the whole Indian countryside.

Pioneering Exciting Events

Growing organically out of a professional commitment to business development and the good luck of being at the right places at the right times we started pioneering the first Rickshaw Challenge in 2006. Today's current four events; the Mumbai Xpress, Classic Run,Tech Raid and the Malabar Rampage are yearly institutions with a loyal following in major media, imitators and participants who chose to return and again. When not organizing awesome motor sports in exotic locations CEMS takes that same sense of adventure and advanced detail to parties, conferences and websites.

From Budapest, we have created the Caucasian Challenge, the Budapest Chernobyl Run, and the new Trans Sahara Rally. In the same spirit of exploration, each of these events passes through countries off the beaten track and into places that are well-known, but not well-explored by tourists (Chernobyl, for example). The mystery of Eastern Europe consists of the delicate balance between possessing the same level of prestige as the Western world and the same level of exoticness and unique culture as the Eastern world.

For the first time ever, CEMS is now presenting an incredible opportunity to explore Africa with the Trans Sahara Rally. Starting in Tunis, Tunisia and ending in Grand Popo, Benin, this 18 day voyage provides an experience unlike most CEMS events. Tagged as a “minimal assistance for maximum effect” event, the Trans Sahara promises the epitome of adventure, the quintessential experience for those who seek a real escape.

In 2011, CEMS also aims to explore more of India with the Taxi Challenge. In the same light as the Rickshaw Challenge, the Taxi Challenge will use Bombay taxis to explore the areas of the Deccan Plateau, northern India, visit the Taj Mahal, and of course enjoy relaxing on the tropical beaches of Goa. With events such as the Deccan Challenge, the Konkan Quest, and the Indian Epic, the objective is the same as the Rickshaw Challenge of South India. Only the means and the location are different.
